Membership types
A place for everyone
Whether you're here for a few weeks or settling in for years, there's a membership that suits you.
Regular Membership
Dutch passport holders & Dutch-speaking expats
Our core membership, specifically designed for Dutch nationals or Dutch speakers and their family.
Associate Membership
Open to all expats living in Bangladesh
The maximum number of associate members cannot exceed 75% of the number of regular members. A waiting list applies.
Outside Membership
Dutch passport holders & Dutch speakers elsewhere
For members based outside Dhaka - elsewhere in Bangladesh or in the world.
Reduced Fees Membership
Students & volunteers in Bangladesh
A reduced-fee membership. Applicants share official income documents with the NRC Board.
Temporary Membership
Foreign visitors in Bangladesh
For those temporarily in Bangladesh. The maximum period for a temporary membership is thirteen weeks per calendar year.
